General Reading: When a person wants to read for general knowledge or to learn about history, culture, wars, or people just for increasing knowledge and crave their hunger for reading and learning then it is called general reading.

The difference between academic and general reading starts with that academic reading is specific and only concerns the chosen discipline of the reader.
